Agreed. There's nothing wrong with having side characters, I feel like it adds more dimension to the plot, or at least the world they're living in. If you genuinely like the webtoon-- Everyone, please have a little patience. There will be plenty of other scenes with the main characters in it, since they are *the main characters*. And while it might seem like a waste of a chapter to some, it's enjoyable for others. I know some of you might find it disappointing or frustrating, but please respect the author's choice as well. They're trying their best to build the world of Childhood Friend Complex. I would personally love to see how everything continues and what will happen between the characters and their friends (⌒▽⌒)
Ikr? Huhu. I’ve been seeing it a lot more frequently, especially in the new season—that’s why I think it’s important for us readers to remember that we all want the same thing. But the side characters are just as important as our main leads, since they help them navigate dilemmas and conflicts, too. Like how Minji helps our girl Hanuel—reminding her to take care of herself even when no one is looking and giving her some advice in certain situations. And we also can’t forget Mincheol’s two older brothers who, so far, has only spoken facts that will hopefully help Mincheol reflect and recollect properly in the long run. They all play such crucial parts/roles in this story, just like how every person we surround ourselves with in real life has their own stuff going on, too. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I understand that there’s a collective of us who want to see the main couple—how they’ll figure things out and get back together—but we also need to see how things will unfold with the second couple, especially since she’s somehow tethered to the second male lead and still has a tinsy bit of lingering feelings for him (may it be in a romantic manner or not). Let’s all be patient, please huhu
P.S. I also want to put up an appreciation message for how the story is progressing. Some manhwas/stories barely give the second couple enough screen time, so it feels a bit weird when we just see them all lovey-dovey without knowing how things actually developed between them—or whether it’s truly love or just mere infatuation.
