Wow, I thought for sure he was going to fake his death and come back as Sansuke, and then live a quiet life with Mitsu. I guess not. I really wanted them to be together.

Both faked their death and are together they even had a son. So it's a good ending but I feel sorry for Kisho if at least he didn't rape her.
