I don't read the novel so im going off on what I've read.
From what we know, MC is "owl" and ML's mission is "bird watching" where in they're supposed to observe and get something out of MC, information or smthn. He wasn't actually in love with her, to him it was just a mission. He might have some possessiveness given how he's acting now but he for sure as hell didnt love MC. He left after 2 years either because that's the duration of the mission or because the NIS concluded that there wasnt any info to be had from all that. I just feel bad bc mc may have been a lil wonk in the head but its so cruel to do that to an innocent citizen like i honestly wanna know what info could they possibly get from mc (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Does anyone know why did he left her i know it was a mission but why did he leave after two years?
Didn’t he loved her enough to stay?
