There was a chapter where it kinda explained why, it was when the bott(forgot his name) got kidnapped or ran away(idk) then the real form of those cuties were shown,
I remember that but didnt think it was reason enough for them to be so disliked lol. I was wondering if maybe they had something to do with their past or something of that nature. I love them personally lol
The „gummies“ are centipedes which in real life can be poisonous and indicate that there are other pests (which they feed on to). It is said that they like damp and places infected with many insects. Therefore they happen to be around corpses aswell. I think that’s why Mugo said that they bring bad luck bc centipedes are nothing but a bad omen when they roam around somewhere or somebody..
