Yeah I think a lot of people don’t want to address this. Like for example, the Denji and reze pool scene isn’t sexual, but reze drawn in lingerie in a sexy pose is sexualization of a minor character. Like fujimoto never sexualizes male characters besides angel who was played off as a joke.
hot take but I think we can acknowledge Denji is a victim and his hyper sexuality is a result of all the traumatic experiences he’s been through in his life, while ALSO criticizing fujimoto for how he depicts a lot of the underage female characters. some of the scenes are totally unnecessary and unrelated to any type of characterization/ development
