I can't believe people downvoted you for this. Sandra knew her son was being abused and she chose to keep quiet and stay with her son's abuser. She was a shit parent. Jeremy deserved better.
I agree with you, male centered women are also big part of the problem, I understand her character, it was well crafted because she was raised thinking her value was permanently tied to a man, her husband, and then, her son. We saw the consequences of that mindset.
I'm glad Sandra died if she didn't i would have killed ker myself, I hate women who choose their lovers over their children. It might sound strange but once you decide to have children they come first, before your love, before you.
