Not really I wouldnt trust his unreliable narrator ass. He made too many contradictory statements here claiming they were lovers n then saying he rejected him for being a man. Based on hieroglyphic hints it seems more like a case of one sided obession on osiris part than osiseth canon. Altho it might actually be true but chances are low cuz if it turn out to be true then horus's wadjet statement of "seth had chosen me since a long time now" would contradict since his sudden switch of lamguage to informal speech and this particular statement hints quite a lot abt their past lives
Yeah, they were lovers before they became gods (i assume) cuz in the story when u become a god u loose ur memories. The reason Osiris didn't has explained in the story but I don't remember it was something to do with a magical eye or whatsoever. And seth learns that while talking w maat (they being lovers in the past). But thank god he doesn't remember i would become a monk if I knew I loved someone like Osiris, man fuck no
Osiris, Isis, Nephtys and Seth were born half-gods before awakening. And when you become a full god, you loose your memories from the past. It seems that Osiris is the only one remembering their past although it feels that even his memories are unreliable. They (Osiris and Seth) could have been lovers in the past when they were half gods but my take is that it's just a delusion on Osiris.
There is also the fact that Horus was the fifth sibling instead of being a son. And he was always the one Seth loved even in the past.
Horus the son is the reincarnation of Horus the elder. My theory is when he was killed by either Seth or Osiris for whatever reason, his soul went into the Nile and when Isis did the deed with "Frankenstein Osiris", Horus went inside Isis belly.
Omg someone else on board the HTE theory! Ily u for this also i feel like horus went into her belly long before she did it with frankensiris? There were mural hints that state "for the sake of their brothers theyre willing to become gods". I kinda see this as neph and isis who became gods for seth and horus. Because once a god is dead its almost like an impossible feat to ressurect them for isis to have absorbed him in her womb is nothing short of a miracle and maybe thats how she got her main divinity as god of magic? There was this one chapter where hathor calls isis "true god of love" isis was confused by that but hathor was like "i now see why ra calls u god of love"
I feel like she wasnt just making a casual remark There n theres more to it than meets the eye. Also it'd explain why horus told seth that seths fhe reason he was able to be born because osiris wasnt planning on having children with isis. Maybe osiris was aware of horus the elder ressurection and didnt want him to be born?
The nile theory could be true too! We cant rule that out ^^. I just added mine cuz i seem to remember vague hints about hte conception being written somehwere. It was something along the lines like "elder sister yelled murder n left to find younger brother" "while seth was comforted by nephtys (right after hte murder). I think elder sis mentioned here is isis. Also i cant recall n maybe im fake imagining it but i kinda feel like hte being taken in her womb was also mentioned cryptically? I could be wrong uuf. But i darn sincerely hope Seth and osiris being lovers isnt true n is osiris delusion
Yep. He sorta was the og version no? Like i read nephew horus version was smth that got popularized by greek rulers n elite class when they ruled egypt or their influence in egypt. It was part of some kind of propoganda ? But local public never forgot hte n would worship him too along with the new popularized version in diff regions of egypt. I also read skmehwere that the concept of horus or a proto falcon headed god is even older than ra and predates ancient ennead by thousands of years. No matter the Dynasty heru ur or horus has always been popular huh

So maybe before they all lost their memories, Seth n Osiris were once lovers? Based on the words out of that crazy bitch's mouth, I can only assume so. Jealousy has really sent Osiris over the edge.
