I assume some readers like simplicity. Straightforward characters with a fake label that says "complicated" on top.
Realistically, what are yall expecting? Ml was treated like straight trash and basically as a toy. He went out of his way to save the mc multiple times. Just because the mc is growing up doesn’t mean the ml has to act accordingly. Mc hasn’t apologized or anything to him so why are yall suddenly switching up because the ml took the mcs personality and giving it back to him?
