I'm here mainly because (1) I'm curious about how the story is going to develop and (2) the art is fucking fantastic. But I have no idea how the author is going to make me want to root for FL and her potential stepfather especially since it seems like he's actually into her mom. I'm not rooting for this pairing at all. It just gives me the ick thinking about FL wanting to get together with the guy who just ate out her mom like WTF. Idc if we find out he secretly has feelings for FL, this is just too much. But goddamn I'm curious about the story. The only way I can see them ending up together is if her mom dies or is out of the picture completely in another way.
My prediction about the storyline
1. FL is going to blackmail ML somehow to have sex with her
2. FL becomes more posessive of ML and starts getting jealous and acting out when seeing him and her mom together
3. We're going to find out that ML is not all innocent and had ulterior motives for being with the mom (not necessarily related to FL but having it be related to FL would probably help to develop their romance storyline more)
4. ML somehow directly or indirectly is responsible for mom's death (still think that's the only way I could see this pairing "work". I just can't picture her mom clapping for the couple at the end when they get married lol)
5. FL uses that as leverage to get ML to be completely hers
6. ML starts falling for FL as well and getting possessive and jealous
7. plot plot plot...they confirm their feelings and get together.
