Ottavio is the fiance of a girl Ari knows (I think her name is Julia but it's not Raphael sister). She's a brunette noble lady who has been engaged to him for forever but he's friends with Cesare and Ippolito sooooo

So I went and found the light novel bc I've been waiting so long and the angst is killing me. Imma have to put it down because this is a tragedy and it gets worse before it gets better.
Alfonso will be returning soon but it's not happy and there's a time skip. Basically Elko becomes evil and thwarts comments between him and Ari which leads to him marrying icky girl and Ari suffering alone. When he comes back he sends her a letter saying let's be strangers bc I heard all the rumors and you never said anything. Not that she could because of Elko.
Plus Isabella is coming back pregnant with Ottavios kid to get revenge on Ari. Everything is about to get worse and the two leads aren't speaking bc of misunderstandings and actions of others.
I can't keep reading this with how slow it's moving. I really like the plot but the anger I felt reading th novel is making me take a break. That and the story isn't even finished, despite novels being hundreds of chapters ahead. This is a let this marinate for 2-3 at LEAST because even then I doubt leads will be speaking to each other it's so upsetting. I had to let everyone know I'm sorry y'all.
