I saw it on b@to from someone who read the novel, shes actually not jealous of her being with ryan, shes very scared of becoming lonely once eloise is "gone"
Oh nooo, I think her envy stems that in the end she’ll be alone ultimately especially with how her disability is treated
Why is it always in fiction that women MC can't have real friendship, they always have to add jealous friend, like sure it happens but I've seen way more profound friendship in real life than the other way around.
