She fell inlove because she knew that they are being manipulated by the story. They were meant to that against their will. She was that understanding. Tho idk at what point she fell for Killian. But i think it started as a crush and then turned to love because killian was somewhat nice to her even if he isn't supposed too.
I don't get why Edith choose the long way. I know it's a romance novel but I hate Killian and the whole ducal family like she get stressed everytime she has to proof herself even after proofing they just don't her (spell). But I she should consider successing her father like after marrying Killian she should hire someone skilled to kill her father, brother and her maid sophia. I know it's not possible or maybe but she should consider it.
I don't get it how can she fall in love after all those abuse. I just don't get it ughhh and it was just an opinion no need to hate it(⌒▽⌒).
