As a child of an abscent father SINCE i was a young child (2 yo exactly) it makes my absolute blood boil when they make children accept so quickly and possitevely to a new biological father. I know that they use children as props and to force her to keep interacting with him and to move forward their relationship which is fucked up in any case.
I assure you that even if i didn't understand the complexities of filial roles and such, I knew i didn't have a present biological father and i actually never wanted one. And even when i eventually met him in elementary school i kept my distance and trust and NEVER called him my dad. One can question the influence of my mother but contrary to popular opinion, in my case my mom didn't want me to grow up with a negative opinion of him.
