It's part of the same universe. Angela, the protagonists' daughter, is Spencer's classmate and has a crush on Josh. There's a funny scene where she admires Josh and Pete says his father is already married and isn't going to get a divorce hahaha

Can anyone just spoil the novel for me, I’m only halfway and it’s getting repetitive, i just want to know what is this misunderstanding between that that is talked about multiple times, did yu-jin really genuinely sleep with Harold, and did he also invite those men into his and Winston’s house and sleep with them willingly? I mean if he did then I’m dropping this instantly because that’s just messed up and i would understand why Winston is acting like how he is now.

Did he not though? In the novel Winston clearly sees yu-jin and Harold sleep together, I didn’t get that far though so I don’t know how it played out or how it was a misunderstanding.
