Yeah- like he’s suddenly waking up from a trance and didn’t intend to hurt her.. when his actions were clearly far from loving and even cruel? That just because he’s found out that she’s being mistreated and used, he’s suddenly feeling guilty for adding to her pain- as if he didn’t also deliberately act hurtful to her.

while i do think people are capable of change, the siblings coming to terms with her mistreatment feels a bit weird. the sister feels a lot more genuine than the brother but even still it’s weird how they are rlly trying to come around. hope the eldest stays that way he’s a piece of shit and the father
