I guess the author forgot about it or it's actually the plot where true love does not necessarily transforms the people (figuratively and literally)
OR its the secret third option that no one likes where they are actually not soulmates
i think it's because theyre both alpha, the 2 times it appeared were one alpha/omega couples
oh... I thought 100% we were gonna see their smudges transform.... why else even bring that up or make it a plot point ya know
