Read the novel it will leave you very satisfied. Marinating the anime or manhua is pointless, as we know the artist for the manhua left and it's very unlikely that another artist will pick it up and as for the anime chinese censorship is at its peak and we might have to wait for years for a new season or maybe never it's very inconsistent unlike japanese adaptations

I mean same before I never read books but tgcf left me so starved that I just read it and one of the best decisions I've made there are small wholesome details in that novel that are not adapted. I'm just saying give it a try! If u don't like it after like 5 chapters u can drop it
I agree with this, i never read, the only novels i actually read was orv and remaried empress but nothing close to tgcf my body would wake me up hours before school so i could read when i really hated it before
Hello, I am a visual learner, I'm from novel reader and Wattpad. But now I have a problem of reading a novel, same as my education. I can't learn if it's not visual learner, I tried multiple times to read novel, to go back, but I can't even finished one chapter
The published books of tgcf got a lot of illustrations if that could help
Sorry, but illustration is just illustration. If I want to understand what I'm reading I should having visual learning, or at least hearing. I can't even take notes for goddam sake, because even I take notes, I will find that hard to understand when I re-read, I might be dyslexia but I still don't know because I didn't see a doctor. The hard part is that I do art so that I can understand the lesson, even if it's stickman. As long as I see and visualize. And I have 2 books of story that I created and it's complete (2019 era) and I can't even start the 3rd book that I need to write because I find it hard to visualize the letter the story in that letters, and I hate myself for that because I have the whole fricking vision but I couldn't do it, I couldn't form into a whole chapter, I can write but I don't even read this my comment I just continue typing, so if you find this hard to understand I am deeply sorry

I really don't want to start in anime and I know this since 2020 I just don't want to read incomplete. And then knowing that the manhua is on hiatus or never continue is really disappointed and I'm hurt because I've been marinating this. like will I..... Marinate the anime also?
