Not a single child receiving his skin tone stems from racism but I can’t prove it. I was persuaded a daughter would have dark skin black hair and blue eyes and then thought 'oh so artist just felt racist'

I mean, for it to be resembled by their cat who died, i think that's how they wanted to show that the cat was reincarnated as their daughter. Remember what the eldest son said? He want's to be a good big brother to her. Just sharing my thoughts
True (i dont remember ill be honest) and the daughter looking like her mom wouldn’t be weird if the son wasn’t already completely identical to her. Like that boy not getting his father’s darkskin even though first borns often look way more like their fathers than other borns already weirded me a bit

I think I was expecting more deeep emotional and bonds, not that this is lacking, its gooood. But just wished the daughter had black hair or brown skin and white hair it would have been beautiful….
