I also thought it was her story. But the further it goes, the more it seems to be someone else's story. Someone named "Kim". She only read it upt to "Chapter 4, Part 4". Prota was a writer as well, but this story wasn't her's. Or was she the ghostwriter? To be honest, it's kind of contradictory told, as far as I'm concerned.
No I think her friend wrote it not her. Which is why she knew so much about it. Because her friend was having her read it. And I think she offered her friend ideas to make the story more politically intriguing- which her friend did but now that she is a character in the story those changes are affecting her.
You are the one that wrote the story but you cannot figure the plot or understand your own characters. Hurmm quite frustrating… （￣へ￣）
