She doesnt rule egypt anymore since osiris dethroned her and rn the throne is in horus/isis possession. She doesnt even have the wadjet anymore too which is within horus. If he were to ascend to full godhood now he'd be able to wield wadjet fully and claim Ra's supreme administration privileges too. Altho Ra is on a different league from all the gods since she's the primordial deity but her control over egypt isnt same anymore and I lowkey kinda feel like her being so welcoming to horus is a trap to try and absorb him and reclaim back her wadjet and authority.
When exactly did Osiris dethrone her? I also think your theory could be right about Ra wanting to absorb Horus. I can't see Raa laying down and rolling over because of Osiris.
Before the start of the manhwa. We see it in flashbacks but maybe in s3 we will be able to see it. There was a chapter where osiris went to meet ra and was refused and then again a panel wheere we see him armed with weapons n shi looking up at ra (probably when he went to usurp) then there was a flashback chapter where we see some kind of party and gifts n tributes to celebrate osiris victory n start of reign.

Some ppl think she wants to re instate hathor again cuz she was ra's original successor but then wadjet was stolen(by horus in past life) when hathor got blinded by love. So it might be their plan to corner horus into ascending n then try n absorb him. Or maybe ra really does have a soft spot for seth? Who knows. Atleast Khepri genuinely likes seth
I feel like it was explained but I can't seem to remember. Why is the current sun god, Raa, giving up her position? Couldn't she continue to rule as long as she wants?
