I know it's shocking but it's part of experimentation and fusion cuisine. Now I want an authentic croissant and a fusion croissant both

They could have just called it a salted croissant (it exist yeah) and not a sandwich

We do that sometimes where I live. They even sell them for a high price in stores and restaurants, but they’re cheaper to just buy the croissants and make them yourself. Never knew a “salted croissant” existed, honestly, and I’ve been watching cooking/baking shows for all kinds of cuisines for over twelve years. Are you thinking this refers to some kind of sweet croissant? Because most croissants being sold in stores and restaurants (outside of France) are not at all sweet, instead just salt and butter and are referred to as just croissants.

Oh yeah croissants are croissants, when I spoke about “slated croissants” I was referring to a sort of recipe where you take a croissant, open it in the long side and fill it up with ham, slated cream, etc… sorry, but are you French by any chance because I am and I think I don’t express myself quite clear (￣∇￣")
