He’s definitely up there, but to me it’s more acceptable, because he is never portrayed as a good person. He is obviously a monster. In other works you see trash ML and the author is constantly trying to excuse their behaviour.
Gurl, I've read some spoilers about this and hell naw..... I'm speechless, if not the qorst then one of the worst ML to exist...
