And i was really starting to enjoy it too

The story was actually really good in the beginning, I liked the fact that she had a very justified reason to resent the female lead and it wasn't because she stole her man but because she actually had personal beef with her. I genuinely thought I would end up really liking it until I realised that the MC is not as smart as I thought she was, she keeps letting the villains get away with all the bad things they do and she refuses to ask the Duke for help when it would just be easier to let him handle it and I dont even know why she refuses to tell them about her power because they've always been kind and good to her so it really makes no sense. And to just make everything worse, she has stolen all the fl men and now has 3 future live interests. It was good but that's more than enough reason for me to drop it now. Happy reading to everyone else though!

The frustration is understandable, but a lot of these complaints come from overlooking the MC’s trauma and the story’s political context. In her past life, trusting authority figures and revealing her power is exactly what got her executed, so her refusal to immediately rely on the Duke or expose everything isn’t stupidity—it’s self-preservation. She doesn’t let villains “get away with it” because she’s clueless, but because acting too early in a politically charged environment would backfire. And the idea that she “stole all the FL men” ignores the fact that she isn’t chasing anyone; the male leads gravitate toward her through shared experiences and gratitude, not because she’s running a reverse harem side quest. It’s totally fair to drop the story, but these are character-driven choices, not flaws in the writing.(● ̄(エ) ̄●)
