I kinda hate that ML gave in to what his father wants, would have been nicer to see him continue studying medicine... Like I get that ML changed his mind cause he wanted to protect MC: "If you're ever again harassed by some people like those guys did the I can protect you." but that could have just as well been through medicine: "If you're ever again given some poison again I can cure you." And like he has been trained with sword his entire life to this point all ready, I think he can protect MC just fine even now (like we saw with the guys at the market).
