On the personal scale, people take me to be mean and strong, which is odd as I'm 5'2 and a teenage girl who is visibly skinny. My 5yr old brother had white doctors dismiss him until we saw a black doctor for the first time this year who immediately realised he had deliverly fluid in his ear which could've been seen easily if they weren't so quick to dismiss black pain, the paper bag test is a thing.
