It’s been a while since I found actual gems in the manhwa world that isn’t just pure power fantasy. The mc is talented enough but doesn’t just get plot armor without having to work for me. And every single character in this story is so well written with their own nuances. There’s actually realistic plot and development. Nothing is ever black and white in this story. Villains have proper motivations and remain human. And altogether, the whole story shows how no one ever wins when it comes to war. Everyone suffers, no matter which side they’re on. There will always be innocents getting fked over because of war and there’s no perfect righteous moral solution to everything. I think this is a really great historical fiction manhwa. 10/10
