“You always have to get everything you want when you want it, yet you never once wanted ...

“You always have to get everything you want when you want it, yet you never once wanted me.” I couldn’t really understand Joo-an’s love for Hajin, if it was ever that deep, because he had dated other people before reuniting with Hajin. This quote really cemented his character for me. Joo-an only wanted Hajin WHEN the timing was right and he remembered he had a first love in Korea. As Seojoon said, Joo-an had to get that thing WHEN he wanted it. Joo-an rushes into things when he feels something, but none of what he felt for his previous lovers or for Hajin was ever that special… or else he would have realized he was in love with Seojoon. Maybe because he couldn’t recognize his love for Seojoon, that he mistook whatever fondness he had for other people as love? I also predict that Seojoon being in the Korean branch might have been what lead Joo-an to unconsciously want to do the show in Korea, making him think it was for Hajin (like why now of all places right?). It’s been a while since I resumed the manhwa so maybe I’m wrong about a lot of things. Just my thoughts ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I do honestly think that Joo-an never really liked Hajin and instead was obsessed with this childhood memory he has of him, hell I might even believe he actually wanted to become successful and be where he is now to go and impress him but I can't even for a moment actually believe he loved him or really actually liked him, it was more like what Seojoon and you said that he had this thing he wanted and he just had to have it (referring to Hajin), that would also explain why he wasn't actually that sad when he didn't get a chance. I do also believe that there is a chance he actually has or had even if unconsciously feelings fo Seojoon but always only thought about him as a friend and never actually tried to really know him cause actually caring/ loving someone seems something he might regard as uncomfortable, of course it's just an opinion but from the looks of it he never had a proper relationship but only situations that looked more like friends with benefits. Mind you this does not make him any less shitty both as a friend and a potential lover HELL THIS IDIOT DOESN'T EVEN KNOW MY MAN FAVORITE DRINK AFTER TWELVE YEARS, I do believe that there needs to be another fight before they actually get together cause even just a conversation I don't think would work as well, Seojoon need to yell at him al the times and the ways he hurt him and Joo-an needs to either say sorry and let him go for good or make a yelling love confession cause after all the shite he pulled just getting close again would be unfair and kinda forced for me. Sorry about the long ass response I got too involved in the story
    ╥﹏╥
