I mean… she kinda broke his heart and he was a kid so when he saw an out he ran, and became an idol. I don’t think he planned on seeing anyone from his life before being an idol ever again. But she inserted herself into his life again, for her own gain at work I might add, and he, probably never having gone to therapy to work out what happened to him, went down the rabbit hole again.
There was never really a need for a “Dohwa’s side” to begin with. Dohwa left for practical reasons first, as his apartment was developing mold and he had to move out. After his confession, he wanted to properly say goodbye. He went back at the front door, hoping Sooae would show up at his door like she always did. When she didn’t, he took that absence as his answer. For him, that moment was his closure, and so he left.
I love dohwa but this confuses me. Did they explain why he didn’t contact suae for years? He’s still obsessed with her but didn’t bother to meet with her even once until they reunited? And why does it feel like he knows eunhyeok would be at this party. This back and forth just feels like a repeat of their high school days
