As someone who was force fed even if I puked, I second this. Also it’s been scientifically proven that children have a biological response to fruits and vegetables to protect them from eating them in the wild. So when a kid says a fruit or vegetable is icky, their body is making them feel that way to protect them. They do eventually grow out of it but forcing them makes them have bad memories connected to that food and makes it hard for them to EVER like it. It’s better to be kind and not force your kid to eat anything because you give them ED and a poor mindset surrounding foods.

BRO U CANT JS LEAVE YOUR TODDLER ALONE WITH SOME GUY YOU MET AT WORK 2 DAYS AGO JS BCS HE DIDNT WANNA EAT HIS TOMATOES TF?????
Also, I'd like to say that while it is understandable to want your kids to eat healthy, don't force them to eat foods they don't like, either find another vegetable they do like that has similar nutrients or leave them be. Not saying you shouldn't care at all, js to respect when your child doesn't like a food. -A picky eater who is picky bcs of food textures (tomatoes make me gag idk anyone that actually likes them)
