Hmmmmmmmmmmmm I just want to rant about this

So, wow i ended up read the whole in one sit for 4 hours

The visual storytelling is good, and by that I mean the art had no major flaws at anatomy, no awkward pose, & good deliver of the mood & vibes etc etc BUT

I used to read Kim (what was the author name again) 's other works like bastard, home sweet home, etc on webtoon back in High School and not I ever found some kind of plot holes (might be because I'm too dumb to even figure out there is)

But this time.. I can say there's some plot holes like the way that roh guy found out about im's ability is just kind of irational, the cliche coincidence and guessing by guts?

Both of his hatred and fear for mc, and the fact he felt no guilt over what crimes he's been doing. It's just so not convicing. It's not like he's a pshco cold blooded brat since the beginning

Some reason doesn't have to be so convincing coz some people and some villain sometimes truly unreasonable about their motives (this is also mentioned in one chapter of this story about murder cases and killers motives)

But it goes like

"Roh's father got killed by im's eyes when he and his family are at their happiest moment spending their time together at the park, when suddenly group of thugs attack his ex-thug father that should've been able to barely save the day, JUST if it's not for Im's emotion when their eyes met by chance that killed his father with nonexistent heart attack. Roh tried to check on his dad but almost hurt by the thugs but ended up shielded by his mother. And so his mother died trying to save his ass" I must say his mother died in vain for tried to save her hell of a son

Never ever mentioned that Roh was having a hard time mourning or felt guilty for their parents died trying to save his ass. It as if they're not even as precious for his grudge to even grow.

"Uh-oh I lost my parents and home, and had to live in a shitty orphan. What the hell, mc is a monster, so scary~. Wait.. could it be it was him who indirectly killed my parents and crush my possibly good life? This is all his fault, I need to made him suffer the loneliness that in fact I never had coz I'm a fucking jerk with no emphaty or emotional capability to feel sad and guilty! Yes that's it, that little blind girl need to befriend him so I can recreate the same thing that happened to me (lose my so called 'dear' people at my happiest moment)!!! Mc is a monster while I'm a fucking saint trying to do society a favor while also having fun with my so called revenge"

Other thing, it was never shown that roh had a grudge against those thug. It was treated as normal as his father was a crime doer in the past, so those thugs aren't even at fault. Reality speaking, it's weird coz usually, you'll be more focused on people who actually kill your beloved ones in front of your eyes.

In my eyes, Roh the fucking antagonist was just connecting the dots out of nowhere. Sure he heard the pastor's convo over the phone. Sure, he saw some bullies suddenly died in front of mc. Sure, he realized that back when he was at the park, at the same time Im and the orphan kids are also there. And sure he had some digging around to know the deaths of everyone around Im actually ain't no coincidence. But it's just way too weak to be a revenge motive, and also a very grudgeful at that

LIKE everyone blame mc for something he never did, or at least never meant to. I understand if they're afraid, or don't want to get close to him, but calling him a murderer is wrong coz he never meant to

When the story scale are big, I don't think its not good to be "too evolved" around mc, especially that roh guy and detective Yoon, it's as if their world is so small they start assuming and pointing their fingers at Im, and for what reason? Because the occurring deaths surrounding him are peculiar?

I'm agree with that others comment that stating the characters are kinda shallow and had no personality

Sure they are unique on their own, had their own little backstories, some are naive, some are ruthless, some are having a dilemma, some are too curious for their own sake, etc etc

BUT there's no depth we could grasp, at least from this webtoon excecution

So in the end, it lacks emotional and psychological depth we need. Some chapters would be needed to build all of that but sadly, it's nonexistent

Or maybe did I skip some part? Either way, I'm not trying to judge whether this webtoon is good or bad, just stating what I feel as I read it, as it's kind of a shame coz I actually quite enjoy it

The end was quite good actually, and it's a saviour for both mc and people around him, but MC doesn't deserve all of hardships he had, no matter how many people he accidentally killed

Just because he didn't meant to? YES, that's the point, he didn't meant to and already felt very guilty about it, trying to atone for what his ability caused his surroundings. It felt so unfair.
