It's because from the get go you will see that the ML is fucked in the head. The MC is a little better than him but not much. ML is a true sociopath who finds the MC attractive because he is a very much killer like him and feels pity for his circumstances. Even after they get together MC keeps being a killer. ML is just a psycho mess and gives extremely unhinged dialogues that is somehow still funny in between the bloodbath.
i wanna trust all these novel readers being excited for the adaptation but the fact that it involves a lot of rape makes me not wanna read it but like there‘s gotta be a reason everybodys hyped??
