Does anyone fully understand what’s going on with Tokinaga, Witch Waka, and Nisroca? Sorry, it’s not that I’m completely lost, but just want to hear what people’s ideas were for what could be happening. First off, my curiousity starts with Witch Waka. While she’s holding Tokinaga above the cliff, she began to ask if he’d ever considered being a girl, then proceeded to describe Shion in a sense. She also mentions how she had reincarnated as a beautiful girl to gain the attention of the one she liked. Perhaps she had intended on having Tokinaga reincarnate as Shion? She was still deep in grief after all.

If I’m not wrong Waka in the first incarnation (at least the birth in which the two first met) was a guy or was a genderless being. That is why she asks Tokinaga if he were wanted to become a girl and says that she wanted to become a girl… meaning previously Waka wasn’t a girl.

And Tokinaga in their first birth was a girl because Waka tells him he became a husk after losing what he loved and asks him wouldn’t he like to forget those painful memories (probably embedded in her soul that keeps reincarnating, meaning Tokinaga originally wasn’t aromantic) and become a DIFFERENT girl. No point is saying a “different girl” to a guy. Which means Waka wasn’t referring to Tokinaga himself but who Tokinaga originally is, a girl whom male/genderless Waka loved but wasn’t reciprocated.

I have a bad feeling that Nisroca might be Waka in the future?? Because of Nisroca constantly talking about Tokinaga’s kind heart just like her, playing the same game again and again just like Waka’s rebirths, being able to use the same IPO symbol that Witch Waka originally had, forcing Tokinaga through cycles so that he can spend more time with him…. Being born out of Waka’s dead body and saying that Waka will turn into a demon… this part is just headcanon tho.
The first two, I’m absolutely sure.

And also the fact that Waka’s magic from the beginning was in her eyes (when she says “it’d be good to die in the sea), she has that IPO symbol in her eyes, yet IPOs never existed at that point. It is only after she gives her powers to Nisroca that we see the IPOs in the picture with the same eyes/born out of the same magical particles as in Waka’s eyes (probably Waka’s magic, that Nisroca took into the past to plant).

    And Nisroca doesn’t have eyes!

Also Waka was probably the one who destroyed the foreign school that Tokinaga was going to attend because she didn’t want him away from her… then the fact that Nisroca destroyed the whole world so that Tokinaga might love Waka also would make sense. (I’m thinking that Waka might originally be some kind of OG god. Not an organism but a god god. Because Nisroca says the two met each other a zillion years ago. This is really a long shot but I wanted to share with someone ~)
