it's clear from the cover and the art style that this is not for the weak-hearted. other bl's might be less gory, but this is less toxic (it still is, to some extent). I would describe this one as grim, bleak, and almost disturbing but in a good way. Complex characters with a plot that feels like the calm before the storm.
The storytelling through art is also rather unique. Transitions, parallels, and the progression of time is shown without text. The dialogue has everything strictly necessary, but the art does the most.
Really hope that the quality doesn't drop and the ending won't kill me#－.－)
