I'm so glad I checked this out again after letting this marinate in my tbr pile. First off, this gave me nostalgia, this reminded me of the good old days of yaoi - plot-heavy, dialogue-heavy and quality scanlators who did stuff for free but had so much passion that they'd give out translation notes about the culture and language, (and how hard it was back in the day that we rely on these scanlators). This just doesn't happen anymore i'm afraid especially with manhwa. The older manhwas kind of gave this vibe but the writing and format has evolved with the times (and attention span oops). I guess the last old ish one that gave me this vibe was Pibi-nim's famous older work.
Second, the part where the grandfather relived his duo's glory days and entrusted the dreams they dropped to their grandsons who looked exactly like them made me cry so much. So much regret but i'm glad one was still alive to see their second chance at it and gave them his blessing. Got me so emotional
Sensei has done such a great work even the cultural aspects. Reminded me why I liked reading manga in the first place. Much respect! And also a shoutout to the excellent scanlation team! If they see this, I hope you guys know your work was outstanding and thanks for not dropping this all these years!!
