They aren't the ones whiting out the sex. The countries of origin do as part of their censorship. There is a movement for some groups to redraw the penises etc. but not all groups can do this. I appreciate the translations and still find it hot, but my mind is good at filling in blanks
Well, I've read the scans elsewhere and they weren't censored, so I figured it was the English scanlators that censored it. It could be the case that the scans they used were already blanked out, though.
Almost 99% of modern mangas/manhwas and manhuas as well as Hentai videos are censored because of strict censorship laws in asian countries. A few scanlating groups with editors who are proficient in graphic design use graphic software to "uncesor" the sex, and by "uncesor" I mean that they create/draw the genitalia, which is not original to the author's work. The point is that the censoring is done by the publisher and has nothing to do with the scalantors.
I knew about Asian censorship laws and how groups "uncensor" some works. I wasn't thinking when I posted the OP. I guess I was wondering why they didn't use the uncensored scans, but that's probably because they didn't have permission from the group that uncensored them. Oh well, I'm still grateful for any scanlated work done.
I agree, uncensored or not, just the fact the manga is translated is a blessing to us fujoshis and fudanshis (●'◡'●)ﾉ
What's the point of scanlating this if you're going to white out the sex? I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but this work is literally all porn and no story. It just doesn't make sense to blank out the important stuff. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
