Not to hate on bro for his situation. But as a person he’s hitting bottom barrel gooner slop MCs barely 9 chapters in. Strangely enough the uke in peak Gooner slop (Full Volume) has a more defined personality and interest/likeability
I get people want MC to submit already so they can goon to the sex scenes, like y’all missed some of the story hints in the first few chapters because of the horniness . Some y’all hate that he has boundaries and priorities outside of the ML.
MC is a determined and hardworking, he doesn’t want his second gender getting in the way of his passion, even to his own detriment . He’s only an asshole to Su-Ah, who absolutely deserves the spite he’s getting. So nah, he is not at the bottom of the barrel, there’s other uke’s that deserve to stay in that pit.
What I’m trying to get at is that MC’s dimensions are poorly represented given the author’s focus on Gooner slop and lack of development on everything else but the su-ah MC dynamic. I said re: Ch9 because he doesn’t seem to have a stellar relationship with the only other fleshed out characters so far (bumbles into the lunch between the two guys, doesn’t recognize how his friend is clearly upset about his Hyung). While I totally agree he’s supposed to be a hardworking, dedicated individual to his sport, it’s primarily subtext. All of his inner monologue is about Su-ah and I need his cum to do well!!! — but why is he so intent on doing well? What drives him? There’s 0 dimension to him.
Tbf there’s only been 9 chapters, but the author already seems to think making a complex, morally gray scenario the MC and ML react to excuses a lack of personality behind ML. That’s why I see MC as the opposite—while a total POS, his motives are clearly defined, and has a clear personality (manipulative, self-serving as it is)
Like you said, there’s only 9 chapters, if we were like 20 chapters in you would have a solid point on a-lot of your complaints. The only piece of trash here is the ML(love him tho, he’s so pathetic).
For MC wanting to do well, in the party chapter, his own aunt said “hey grandma and grandpa didn’t want to come, but I did”. His mom even said, we only come from a family of alphas. Heck in the chapter after Su-Ah gets him back to his apartment, he has inner monologue about his self struggle with being an omega. Let’s give the author time and chance to flesh out their story.
Obv ML is a piece of shit morally but hear me out, MC is rly difficult to like himself. Not even from a victim perspective with ML, but just as a person. No hate fr but Author gives him 0 scenes outside of romantic/sexual scenarios and “i hate u su-ah but I need ur cum!!!” so if I had to describe him, it would be a gruff unmannered asshole who only cares about his sport (re: Ch9). Thats probably why so many people are defending ML, because he’s in the opposite situation (horrible morals, sweet on paper).
