Uh… idk about that. That’s a very black and white way to think about it. The MC is getting more out of it than the ML. The ML is solely doing it for the MC because he loves him. MC treats him like a glorified protein supplement. He knows how ML feels about him and still continues to rely on him in this way. He’s an opportunist who doesn’t actually care about the ML because his inferiority complex is in the way. ML has always prioritized MC’s feelings and safety above his own. Why should he have to openly communicate when anyone can read the room and see what ML really wants from him. He’s just ignoring it. Simple.

MC's doing that cause he's been dependent on ML's pheromones for too long. because ML has been unconsciously giving him pheromone showers without MC's consent or knowledge even as he grew older.... (and his reason... "it's cause he loves him and is worried about him" mc: so that doesnt change the fact you doing this without my knowledge)
which made MC MORE dependent on ML's pheromones. and that's annoying him(MC). so that's why he doesnt care about ML. especially after noticing he's performance is going bad when he's with the other members and he's now more dependent on ML
there are lots of omegas that are ok. he's one of the few unstable ones (cause of dependency on ML's pheromones)
but yea if you separate their past to the situation now it feels bad. cause it feels like (well lol not feel like) ML is being taken advantage of.
but from what i can remember they did consent to this situation or setup. ML wants more from this due to the situation.
even when it's been stated before that MC doesnt want to have anything to do with him and ML just keeps on following him for how many years.
it's like when you dont like someone but they're (ML) persistent but people (us readers/viewers) keeps on pushing ML to MC cause he likes him.

Honestly MC is valid tbh bc they’re both getting something out of it and it’s CONSENSUAL. Not MC’s problem that ML doesn’t know how to communicate what he wants.
