she was def called ugly bc of her sister. she probs insulted her in front of everyone often which led to the other kids picking on her. also she did have a lot of bruises on her face so that probs contributed to it smh
Is Paula really ugly or was she just called ugly because of the constant abuse she suffered like being malnourished and was always seen with bruises?? I don't really trust the narration since it's told from Paula's point of view and we know that she has very low self esteem and negative perception of her appearance because of the things she's been told ever since she was a child. Like she might not be a stand out beauty but she at least look average but still pretty nonetheless.
I'm just genuinely curious since I'm reading the novel where the manhwa's left off and no one's just ever called her ugly apart from herself in the present unlike before when she's being abused by her Father.
