More like a black flag complete psycho, the only thing that keeps me from completely despising him is the fact that he is so funny (IK this sounds weird with the following paragraphs, but believe me, he is), I mean what a surprise the guy that almost lobotomized his brother is bad. At least he is whipped for the mc and never cheats if that counts, but he drugged and abused the mc multiple times.
I dont think anyone is good in this story, even the MC (a hired killer duh, but Ill give him some points bc he rescued some kids from a trafficking ring), the person that puts a hit on the ML only does it bc they’re afraid of losing their power to him, not for any noble reason

- ML is an actual black flag while MC is a red flag(?) in a sense. They are both morally corrupt and ML is more so.
- This story is literally a chaeboil power drama
- The best thing about ML is that he's funny and says the most unhinged things you can imagine.
- He is a psycho through and through so when he does something sweet in his unhinged ways, you get swayed by him much like the MC
- He literally tries to kill the MC and then, thinking it's a shame decides to taxidermize him (you know stuff his body to preserve it)
- he has insane amount of jealousy which somehow ends up being funny?
- MC is someone who loves money and wanted to get married with a kid and fish on an island lol but he is a killer through and through, which shows when his first response to any situation is murder, which we will see throughout the story.
- ML said he could be the wife and since he can't give birth they could get a dog
- MC managed to run from ML 2wice but he gets captured by the ML
- ML rapes MC and coerces him into sex and relationship and everything but he doesn't get too much traumatized (except for the threat of mummification)
- They really went on a killing spree one time, it was legit brutal and sick
- They do fall in love and that's basically the core of the story, there isn't any deep mystery in the novel

Bc of what I said before, to maintain his power, he knows his son is a big psycho (man’s been like that from childhood) so he wants to leave the bussisness to his eldest son (he hasnt been shown yet), I guess bc he would be easier to control
Reading the novel now and my personal fave moment is the mc gets jelous seeing ml walking somewhere w an unkown woman so he gets blackout drunk for 1st time since he’s a teenager and beats the shit out of the ml. He also chokes him out and calls him old (what hurts ml the most). Ml is abt to kill him from anger but then mc’s bro told him its cause he’s jelous and Ml responds like (▰˘◡˘▰)(づ￣ ³￣)づ he’s so silly
Ml lowkey enjoys jelousy beating and then teases mc abt his feelings in front of everyone + says dw babe i understand if I thought you were sleeping around I’d kill you too
