Cute, but that confession part made my stomach hurt. It was great at first, but when Madoka came in too (ALSO, MADOKA MENTIONED?!) I literally had to stare at the ceiling to ease the cringe. They’re still cute though. That surprise kiss Madoka did to Asahi still gave me the ick, I don’t really get how SOME people find those “surprise kisses” cute lol.
Thinking about it, this also reminded me of the struggles gay idols face when it comes to coming out. I know it’s not exactly the same situation, but there are similarities, especially the fear of being judged, misunderstood, or rejected by the public. Being in the spotlight makes it even harder, because every part of their life feels like it’s owned by everyone else. Still, I really love how more fans nowadays are becoming open-minded and supportive, accepting idols for who they are instead of forcing them to fit an image. At the end of the day, idols are still human, they deserve to love freely and live honestly. As someone from the community, it genuinely felt comforting to see people slowly becoming more accepting, especially when idols start coming out or hinting at who they really are.
I jumped in joy when I saw the actress with a girl. I really hope they’re together. I’M FUCKING CRYING. ALL HAIL MY LESBIANS ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ
