Such an interesting read, as someone who's a fan of top redemption arcs! I'm simple, I'm a sucker for stories that pain my heart... And this was another one that did the job.

! Spoiler ! My comments

I did ask myself, “what if this was set in Ido's perspective?” It's interesting to be set in a pace of everything Sejin is currently going through—especially with the mystery surrounding Ido's strange behavior and uncovering it. However, I wanted to see how much these has affected Ido himself, particularly in the present. Just how intense really was his regret for all that has happened in their past? What went through his mind when he saw a perfectly fine Sejin in front of him greeting him “welcome home”? How enraged did he feel when he got a call from Mr. Lee that something might've gone wrong with Sejin and Ijung? So many questions unanswered because we didn't get anything from Ido's perspective—not even internal dialogues...

It's not the dialogues alone that would suffice. I noticed that both Sejin and Ido had stiff facial expressions. While I get people being able to perfectly control their emotions, it's not like we can't use micro-expressions for communications. I'd love to see a flushed ear or cheek from Sejin whenever he feels embarrassed or flustered with the way Ido acts sometimes. Or even a slight blush from Ido whenever they're having sex. If Ido truly does not feel he has the right to be forgiven by Sejin, his eyebrow should've been more arched and his eye more sorrowful whenever he feels frustrated/regretful that Sejin is delighted to Ido's presence. This is really not much of a feedback, but it's nice laying down my thoughts on how this could've been more gut-wrenching and tearful and devastating for my heart.

Would definitely reread!!!
