Idk man, he just said he didn't know about them being hybrids for the most part. But yknow. Theories and all that.
May just be an honest coincidence. Maybe hybrids have a look to them. They may have resembled his exes, and happy coincidence.
Or maybe the area he lives, the city, has a lot of hybrids in it.
I kinda think that the reason why Mr.kang had so many hybrids partners is bc of his first relationship. Maybe he just wanted to find other people that looked like him to compensate the hole in his heart ( and mb something else) I think this will explain just how blind he was about his exes identity, his heart was acting not his brain .
