Realistically she had no choice I mean she could have aborted Athy but she wanted to leave Claude with something or someone to remind him of her because she was already very sickly and realistically that timeline would never happen because she was already sick and pretty much dying when she got pregnant
i can’t believe diana sacrificed herself in the original storyline so we wouldn’t have whatever that ending was
