Firstly, each novel chapter is rather short it feels episodic thus the plot doesn't flow smoothly. There are several criminal case throughout the novel but near the end Wonjun
suddenly found his kidnapper and took revenge eventhough the story didn't explain much about his desire for revenge in earlier chapters. There's also another case which yieum got so hung up on but it's not explained why he felt so guilty about the outcome, it just ended up being his n wonjun declaration of love in court moment. Etc..

I read the whole novel and am disappointed it doesn't live up to its potential. The couple are lovable, topic is interesting but the writer lacks many things related to developing legal themed stories. And the romance part also shifted too abruptly near the end. Such a pity for Wonjun and Yieum
