I’m not the type to leave a review, but I just want to share my thoughts about this story. It’s a good story if we leave out the constant misunderstanding, using s*x as a way to fix the said misunderstanding, not consensual s*x, and many more. Tbh, I wanted to drop this the moment the mc had s*x with the ml thinking he’s dreaming and when he got during the kidnapping arc. It was seriously bad. Another thing that I dislike is their constant misunderstandings. Like, they kept having misunderstandings right after they solved the previous one. I understand both of their sides, but it was genuinely tiring. Also, I was expecting a fluffy love story between a tutor and a duke, so imagine my shock when almost all of the chapter are them going at it like Robin (u get it? Cuz Robin is a rabbit..?). The “older brother“ thingy that was happening on chap. 59 legit made me wanna gauge my eyes out.. I really hate that stupid count and his grandfather (?), not only did he ruin Jace’s job opportunities he also kidnapped and tortured. I wish he suffer.

I was hesitant to add this, but I sort of hate Jace’s arrogance. Like, he was acting very arrogant because of the fact he was the top student and he was offered this minister stuff. I was also thinking that if he hadn’t slapped and humiliated that count, there might be a slim chance that he wouldn’t be so unfortunate during the 3 years after graduation. And seeing him blame his ex for what happened kinda gave me the ick.. Yes, they shouldn’t kiss in the freaking hallway. But pushing all the blame to someone is also wrong. He’s way too honest about his ambitions, but he couldn’t be honest about his feelings. That is one of his characteristics that made frustrated. Also, he keeps acting childish if I say so myself. But all the adults in this story have a rather odd characteristics, if I say so myself.
