I don’t think we can come to that conclusion just yet, especially given the way the last chapter ended and the mom’s reaction. What I would say is that she’s at least curious to see who this person is who’s made her son change so much. She was open enough to the idea when she thought he was dating a woman that her son was becoming a better more responsible person. Now that she knows his change is because of a man, let’s see how it plays out with her. I don’t think she’s 100% homophobic, but I also don’t think she’ll be 100% accepting of them right off the bat.
