The only reason yeongwoon got into that mess was because seoin decided to use him to piss his brother off, he fell in love with him sure but his main intention was to use him for personal gain. Had seoin never approached and befriended yeongwoon he wouldn’t have got assaulted. That’s why he got a flashback of him approaching him for the first time, he feels like he is the reason all of it happened to yeongwoon. Hope this makes the story more understandable! :)
