I agree wholeheartedly. The story is just random and touches upon themes that would be really interesting if Fujimoto developed them properly. When I finally thought I figured the story out and thought this was peak, it suddenly got overwritten by something really bad it doesn’t help that the ending reinforces that the story is literally about incest
100% agree storyline had a lot of potential and certain parts had me hooked but then I would be unhooked. What was the reason for incest??? Also naked children….?
Story was mid, bad even. I think it does follow the goodbye eri theme of randomness but gets wayy too random. Some moments are peak and then it's just thrown out of story. Huge time gaps with characters side lined even tho they had potential. It's just a unique concept, a collection of idea executed poorly.
I do love mc, he's a mess but it's understandable. Also togas section was amazing, everything was downhill from there. Art is amazing and those few moments of angst with mc was pretty good.
I do like the story but it's definitely not done well
