I can't comprehend why the rating is that low. IT'S CLEARLY UNDERRATED! the character depth, the human aspects in their personalities, unlike the typical "we're all perfect". ofc there are plot holes, like the gem had a two-time-only use and she used it three times, how the soul was transferred and why (welp Ciel said that it's because they were just too similar but that doesn't sound like a complete explanation). HOWEVER! that doesn't reduce the level of the story being a hidden gem. those subtle metaphors, analogies to small details - truly, a masterpiece. I'd say it has some psychological elements as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
