it’s definitely crossing that line of it being weird but the characters are not black most of them are either “tan” I think this the first time where one her tan characters ethnicity can be classified.I’ve always wondered why none of her stories actually consist of a black character glad I am not the only who thought this.

I got the same thoughts for Blood Link, but I knew the authors other works beforehand. My favorites (basically the only ones I kept reading) from the author are:
- Taming the Tiger
- Smyrna & Capri
- Mania
- Tale of the Yellow Dragon
Only read a few of chapters for those 3, before stacking:

as another black person idt tan skin is weird but taming the tiger was getting flamed on twt for being the whole stereotype of “dark skin ‘beast’ and pale skin prince”
lol first time I hear of this. His name is literally Beom, meaning tiger. I love that name. People will whine about everything. I’m black too and I’m always happy to see dark skinned characters in mangas. Just looking for a dark skinned FLs as they’re not easy to find, especially with a storyline that appeals to me lol.

I have personally always thought they were naturally just tan Asians, never occurred to me that she was meaning or leaning toward portraying a black character.
Ts is genuinely so good I'm going back to check out the authors other works even though I didn't previously like blood link. Also ya'll no hate but I think the author has a dark skin/tan kink. Like seeing that as a black person is always weird n kinda uncanny but alr. Doesn't apply to this ML tho cus he's literally south asian/Egyptian/brown ethnicity. But the other times I spit brown skinned characters not only in their works it can be strange cus they do everything besides explain it or say their black or smth like bruh. Or even weirder they're the only brown person in their family...like...so skin tones r genetic...
